Product-Specific Terms (umbrella)

These Product-Specific Terms (the “Product-Specific Terms” or “PSTs”) are the umbrella for terms that apply to particular Skrib offerings rather than to all of Skrib. They are incorporated by reference into the Skrib Terms of Service and the Skrib Software Services Agreement and apply automatically to your use of the relevant offerings.

Capitalised terms used and not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service or SSA.

1. How Product-Specific Terms work

Each Product-Specific Term covers a particular Skrib offering or feature category. You are bound by a Product-Specific Term only when you elect to use the offering it covers. The Product-Specific Term sets out the additional or different terms that apply to that offering — for example, AI-output indemnity, beta-feature disclaimers, free-trial conversion behaviour, or API rate limits.

2. Order of precedence

In the event of conflict between a Product-Specific Term and the Terms of Service or SSA with respect to the offering it covers, the Product-Specific Term prevails. The full order of precedence (highest to lowest) is:

Product-Specific Terms;

the Terms of Service or the Software Services Agreement (whichever applies to your account); and

any Order, Order Form, or similar instrument (newest to oldest), unless an Order expressly overrides the foregoing.

In all cases, the Data Processing Addendum at https://skrib.com/legal/dpa governs Skrib’s processing of personal data on Customer’s behalf where it applies, and the Privacy Policy at https://skrib.com/legal/privacy governs Skrib’s processing of personal data more generally.

3. Current Product-Specific Terms

The current Product-Specific Terms are listed below. Skrib may add or remove Product-Specific Terms from time to time; the current list is always at this URL.

Beta and Early Access Terms — URL: skrib.com/legal/beta-terms; Applies to: Any Skrib feature designated as alpha, beta, early access, pilot, preview, or experimental. Includes the AS-IS / AS-AVAILABLE disclaimer, the absence of SLAs, the 2-year confidentiality tail, the broad Feedback licence, and the carve-out from the AI output IP indemnity..

Free Trial Terms — URL: skrib.com/legal/free-trial-terms (when launched); Applies to: Free trials offered by Skrib. Will set out trial duration, conversion behaviour, and the AS-IS basis on which trials are provided..

API Terms — URL: skrib.com/legal/api-terms (when launched); Applies to: Use of any Skrib API. Will set out access keys, rate limits, fair-use rules, security requirements, and data-handling commitments specific to programmatic access..

Community Terms — URL: skrib.com/legal/community-terms (when launched); Applies to: Participation in any Skrib community surface (forum, gallery, template marketplace). Will set out conduct rules, content licensing, moderation, and creator-specific terms..

Education Terms — URL: skrib.com/legal/education-terms (when launched); Applies to: Skrib for Education plans, including provisions for K-12 educational accounts, parental consent flows, and domain capture for educational institutions..

4. Changes

Skrib may update individual Product-Specific Terms as the corresponding offerings evolve. Material changes are notified in accordance with Section 9.1 of the Terms of Service or the equivalent provision of the SSA. Each Product-Specific Term is independently versioned with a “Last Updated” date and a “See all versions” link on the published page.
